The land in 40 dunums (1 dunum = 1000 m2) of Naim is located at Al-Makhrour, in Beit Jala, within the Bethlehem area. Naim and his family plant the land with various kinds of trees, including almonts, olives, grapes. They are frequently present and working in their land, as to maintain it againt confiscation, having Al-Makhrour highly threatened by the Israeli settlers and soldiers.

In 1996, some part of Naim's land was bulldozed by the Israelis, and 160 olive trees were uprooted from it, which were 70-100 years old. The Israeli soldiers wanted to open a settlers' bypass road and military camp on his land, but the family resisted and replanted that part. The family still get frequently harrased and attacked by nearby settlers attacking their land and the area.

In early 2022, the Keep Hope Alive - Olive Tree Campaign, supported the steadfastness of Naim and his family with 100 internationally-sponsored olive trees.
