8 Palestinian youth members, from the EJ YMCA, YWCA of Palestine and their Joint Advocacy Initiative (JAI), have participated at the Wonderful Days youth festival in Denmark, under the theme 'Act | React', organized by the YMCA-YWCA Denmark, from the 6th to the 13th of July 2019, and attended by more than 700 participants, internationals and Danes.
The first two days of the program were mainly for internationals, where 35 other internationals from Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, Macedonia, South Africa and Cameron joined the Palestinian youth in various workshops about the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), Communication and intercultural exchange. The Palestinian youth learnt about various subjects along with a lot of new knowledge about the other international participants' cultures.
The Palestinian youth joined the various activities, groups discussions and programs of the festival, where they contributed and learnt, gave a Dabkeh show, communicated their life under occupation with various participants and within discussion groups, and presented the Olive Tree Campaign, in cooperation with the YMCA-YWCA Denmark' Palestinian Network.
