A week program in Palestine, from the 4th to the 10th of March 2022, was arranged and hosted by the JAI for the Global Citizenship class, with 19 students and 3 leaders, from the Danish partner Midtsjællands Efterskole.
Their week including olive planting with Palestinian JAI-trained students, at a Palestinain threatened field in Makhrour area, Beit Jala town. It also included a visit to one of the Palestinian students schools, Al-Khader Girls Secondary School, where they met, chatted and toured with their whole classes, spent time and had dinner with their families, as well as ice-breaking games together.
Guided tours were also organized for the class where they watched the Israeli wall-settlements-bypass roads in Bethlehem, toured inside Dhaisha refugee camp, into Hebron old city, with the Israeli settlements and closures, as well as Jerualem old city. They also had guided tours inside the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, Ibrahimi Mosque (Tombs of the Patriarchs) in Hebron, and a Palestinian Dabka Flore Dance was performed for them.
