Two JAI-trained Palestinian students, Yumna and Yara from Al-Khader village in the Bethlehem area, together with the JAI's Exchange Programs coordinator, had week visit to the JAI's partner Danish Nørre Nissum Efterskole, from the 5th to the 13th of December 2021, as part of the ongoing students' exchange program.
The Palestinian students gave presentations at various classes inside the efterskole, and in other nearby schools, where they reflected and told about their life under occupation, their social life and school, while the JAI's Exchange Programs coordinator presented about the JAI work and Keep Hope Alive - Olive Tree Campaign.
The Palestinian students also got into groups talks, discussions, Q & A, integration with the Danish students, and involved in the Danish school' various activities, sports and program during the week.
Earlier in November 2021, two other JAI-trained Palestinian students from Merelle Beit Sahour town and Ayham from Dhaisha refugee camp, together with the Olive Tree Campaign' officer, paid a week visit to two other partner Efterskoles in Denmark, Midtsjællands Efterskole and Dronninglund Efterskole, lasted from the 2nd till the 9th of November 2021.
They gave talks and presentations about Palestine, life under occupation and the Keep Hope Alive - Olive Tree Campaign, to various classes inside and outside the schools, while interacted with the students and were engaged in the various activities at the schools.
