From the 24th to the 31st of October 2018, four JAI-trained students, together with the JAI' Olive Tree Campaign officer, had a week program at 2 partner Danish Efterskoles, Dronninglund Efterskole and Midtsjællands Efterskole, 2 students at each.
Their week included meeting, chatting and creating friendships with the Danish students, communicate Palestine and their life under occupation through various presentations and talk, as well as joining the Danish schools' various activities and programs.
Various talks were given by the Palestinian students, to the Danish Efterskole students and other surrounding public school students, on their life as teenagers in Palestine, human rights' violation by the Israelis to their lives, about their schools in Palestine, social life and expectation from Danish students and international community.
The JAI' Olive Tree Campaign officer also gave various presentations and talk on the Olive Tree Campaign and its impacts, where the Danish Efterskoles and students also do annual fundraising for the campaign.
In February and March 2019, the Global Citizenship / Teenagers classes from both Danish schools are planned to visit Palestine in a week program with the JAI.
