The JAI has facilitation a week trip, from the 22nd to the 29th of September 2018, for 2 Palestinian girls JAI volunteers Yasmin and Rana, together with the JAI' Olive Tree Campaign coordinator, to a partner YMCA-YWCA Rønningen school in Norway, and YGlobal (the YMCA-YWCA Norway Global department).
Upon arrival, they joined a solidarity with Palestinian concert at Pauls Church in Grunerløkka. During the week, besides participation at the school activities and the interaction with the Norwegian students, especially the Global ones who will come to Palestine in a trip with the JAI in November 2018, the JAI delegates gave speeches to the whole school, to Haugesund local YMCA-YWCA, and at a Sunday service on their personal stories and reflections with life under occupation in Palestine. Main issues presented were: the Olive Tree Campaign, Palestinian youth life under occupation, just peace in Palestine, wall-settlements and water issues, and women rights in Palestine.
They have also had other sessions and video screenings on Palestine, arranged by the school, to answer questions by the students and discuss related issues.
A sessions was also arranged for the delegates at YGlobal, where they discussed YGlobal general work, including their involvement with in Palestinian.
