As the JAI works for raising awareness about the Palestinian cause and its advocacy work and campaigns among youths and activists in all over the world, we receive international groups and delegations visiting Palestine through other organizations and programs upon request.
On Saturday the 30th of June 2012, the JAI team met with 15 international and local youth delegation within a program organized by Zajel Center – Al-Najah National University in Nablus.
They were introduced to the EJ YMCA, YWCA of Palestine and their JAI advocacy work and campaign, including media, awareness raising, and campaigns; why we do advocacy and what do we expect and receive, whom do we target and the impact of the JAI advocacy work. The Boycott – Divestment – Sanction campaign was presented also in more details with its successes and progression so far. The JAI Olive Tree Campaign officer then accompanied the group into guided tours to see confiscated land, the Wall, Jewish settlements constructed on Palestinians lands, land grabbing policies and practices, and meet campaign' farmers and visit campaign planted fields.
