Due to ongoing travel restrictions, where it was not possible for Palestinian students to visit partner Danish schools in fall 2020, to share their stories, and those Danish students to visit Palestine this Spring as planned, an online session was organized on Wednesday the 17th of March 2021, where more than 20 of the JAI trained students attended, in front of Dronninglund Efterskole 90 students.
The JAI students were trained during summer and fall 2020, and come from Greek Catholic Patriarchate School - Beit Sahour, Al-Khader Girls Secondary School, and Shoruq Organization in Dhaisha Refugee Camp. The online session lasted for more than 45 minutes, where the Palestinian students spoke and reflected more about their social life and that under occupation, including Israeli settlements surrounding their villages and towns, checkpoints they face, Israeli control of Palestinian resources, and so on.
Questions followed by the Danish students, where answered by various Palestinian students.
