In July 2014, the JAI has arranged training for more than 20 young males and females from the Bethlehem area, as part of its Democratic Citizenship project.
The training included the concepts of citizenship and national affiliation, advocacy and lobbying, and communication skills, after which the trainees have developed an initiative to encourage and enhance citizenship among various Palestinian sectors through voluntary work and services.
It worths mentioning that the Democratic Citizenship project aims at raising the voice of Palestinian youth to become active social actors and influential on decision making towards positive social change.
