An Olive Planting activity was organized by the JAI on Friday the 2nd of April 2021, at the village of Jaba'a, west of the Bethlehem area, with the participation of 40 Palestinian teenagers and youth through the JAI and YMCA Beit Sahour. The activity marked the Palestinian land day on the 30th of March. The teenagers are the JAI students, trained and prepared for students exchange programs, and the youth are from the YMCA Youth Hub.
200 internationally-sponsored olive trees were planted in the field of Yousef Ali Hamdan, which is threatened by the surrounding Israeli settlements and outposts, as well as the adjacent settlers' bypass road.
The participants showed support and enjoyed their time together and in planting, together with the farmer' family.
