Rajeh Mohammad Mahmoud, a Palestinian farmer, from Jalud village, south of the Nablus area, north of the West Bank, obtained 50 internationally-sponsored olive trees through the Olive Tree Campaign, this season, and planted them in January 2021.
Yesterday, Wednesday the 17th of March 2021, at night, Israeli settlers from the so-called 'Ahya' outposts constructed on the village land, attacked his field and uprooted 40 of those trees. This attack believed to come in light of various Israeli right-wing leaders increasing visits lately to settlements and outposts in those areas, and surrounding the village, in support to the settlers, to gain their votes for the coming elections.
