Nariman owns 20 dunums of land (1 dunum = 1,000 square meters) in the area of Zaa'faran. The land is planted with almond and fruit trees. The Israeli colony (settlement) of Asfar was constructed 500 meters away from her land and threatens it with expansion.

In 2016, the JAI' Olive Tree Campaign supported Nariman and her family with 50 sponsored olive trees, to help them stay in their land, protect it and show solidarity with the family.
