PYEM of the JAI participates in a WSCF Conference in Lebanon

Three members of the Palestinian Youth Ecumenical Movement (PYEM) participated at a World Student Christian Federation (WSCF) Youth conference entitled "Christian Youths and the Renaissance of the Ecumenical Movement in the Middle East" that was held in Beirut between the 5th and 9th of December 2012. The conference was attended by 70 youths representing 17 youth Christian groups from Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Sudan, Iraq. The conference had addressed many important relevant issues and topics related to the reality and the future of ecumenism in the Middle East and the role of the youth and Churches in enhancing the ecumenical movement.

Bayan Barham, Mira Sahouri and Yasmeen Rishmawi who represented the PYEM made presentation on the Palestinian youth and ecumenism in addition to presenting the PYEM and its history of involvement in the regional and international youth activities.
