The Joint Advocacy Initiative participates in several local networks in order to strengthen the Palestinian voice and help mobilize civil society towards an end to the occupation and peace with justice. As part of this effort, we are involved with networks advocating on behalf of Palestinians, both locally and abroad.
We also maintain partnerships with several international organizations to share in our advocacy campaigns and support us in many ways.
CRO: Church-Related Organizations
The CRO network brings together church-related organizations in the Bethlehem area to unify and develop the Christian voice in Palestine and speak to Christians all over the world. The network now consists of sixteen organizations that meet regularly. Plans are underway to provide advocacy training for the members, meet with international CROs networks, plan advocacy trips and network with the World Council of Churches and the Middle East Council of Churches.

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Forum
The JAI has joined a forum for Palestinian NGOs working in advocacy. This network was formed with the aim of unifying the Palestinian message of advocacy sent to the world. Nine topics were agreed upon relating to the Palestinian cause. These topics will be discussed to develop a unified understanding and guidelines to be adopted by the forum. These guidelines will enable the NGOs to work according to a clear, specific and cooperative plan and strategy.
Stop the Wall Campaign
The Stop the Wall Campaign is a network of Palestinian NGOs united in supporting communities along the path of the Wall and calling for the removal of the Wall. The campaign is promoted through web pages, advocacy trips and visits, newsletters, press releases and more.
OPGAI: Occupied Palestine and Golan Heights Advocacy Initiative
Formed as a joint delegation to the World Social Social Forum in Brazil in 2005, this network continues to expand with new member organizations and plans to provide advocacy training and more as it grows.
Recently, OPGAI held an advocacy workshop at the YMCA in Beit Sahour.
