Continuing in the program for rural areas' youth, aiming to study and discuss their various needs, the YMCA Youth Group leaders held a workshop in Dar-Salah, a village east of Bethlehem, with more than 20 young females in the ages between 15 and 18, on Thursday the 11th of May 2006.

Youths came from three surrounding villages, Dar-Salah, Dar-Mubarak and Shawawra, and the workshop covered their youth needs in those areas, and suggested activities and programs to fulfill those needs.

The workshop is to be followed by scheduled programs and activities for the summer time to implement with and for them, to empower them and enhance their abilities and advocacy skills and tools; in addition to encouraging long term involvement in the YMCA youth group activities and work.
